Vetting and CDI preparations
To have good Vetting records is important for an oil/chemical carrier. Many CDI and Vetting remarks can be avoided by good preparation. To have an external entity visiting a ship for a pre-vetting inspection a couple of days before a Vetting inspection is often a very profitable investment. MariTrain can visit the vessel a few days before a scheduled vetting and find the deficiencies before the vetting inspector finds them.

Navigational Audits
According to OCIMF TMSA element 5, the operator shall arrange independent navigational reviews to check the navigational competence. A navigational audit can also be performed after an incident or to improve navigational procedures after a remark from a vetting inspection.
